Swg legends house

One of the great aspects of SWGif you have a full account, is that you can become immersed in your selected galaxy and "live" in a house.

Saving up credits to purchase the home of your dreams is often an early goal for players. Houses are a great place to show off loot and other collections, to store items, to stay in for protection against attack, to craft, or to visit with friends.

Houses can be a part of a player cityand are indeed the most important and necessary part.

House Demolition Program

If you place a house within the city limits of a player city, or if the city limits are increased so that your house comes within them, you will become responsible for any fees and taxes levied by the city. In addition, if the house is your declared residence, you become a citizen of the city with the right to vote; this assures that you can be a citizen of only one player city at a time. You must wait 24 hours after declaring residence before you can do so again, even if you redeed or pack-up and then replace the same house in the same player city.

Placing a house is rather simple, whether it is from a deed or the house control device of a packed-up house. Find an open area that is relatively flat. Placement restrictions are more relaxed for houses than for harvesters, so that player cities have more viable real estate.

Once you are in the general area, generate the structure from the radial menu of the deed or control device. You will get a face-down map of the area around your character. Move the cursor to move the placement of the house. If the highlight is green, you are allowed to place in that particular spot; if the highlight is red, you have to choose a different location. Yellow areas are not allowed for placing. Right-clicking will rotate the house 90 degrees clockwise.

The map will be oriented with North facing up. Left-click when the highlight is green to place the house in that location. Houses come in a wide variety of sizes.

Each size will have a different footprint size the area on the world that it will take up and lot size. Small and medium houses all take up 2 lots, with the exception of the round Small Naboo House, which takes up only 1 lot. All large houses and guild halls take up 5 lots.

Each character has a limit of 10 lots. Note: Lot sizes were reduced in Publish 13 for large houses and guild halls.

While small houses may seem small, you would be surprised how many things you can pack into it—even if nothing was in a factory crate or other container. Because of natural database limitations, each house has a storage limit of how many items can be dropped in the house. You can view the current number of items by accessing the Status option from the house's structure terminal.

The storage rule to remember is items per lot. These means smalls and mediums have a limit of ; larges and guild halls have a limit of The round Small Naboo House has a limit of Note: House storage limits were increased in Publish The structure management terminal in your house lets you manage the house and control what others can do in and to it.

You can perform most of the actions described on this page using commands found on the terminal's radial menu. Like other structures, houses require hourly credit maintenance. This could be viewed as utility bills or costs for upkeep.

In any case, it is deducted from the house maintenance pool every hour you can view and update this pool using the structure management terminal ; if the pool is empty, it will come from your bank account or cash if the account is empty.Tired of the Rebel Alliance using abandoned structures as bases and safe houses, the Empire is instituting a galaxy-wide effort to remove deserted buildings. Any house, factory, or player association hall that has been abandoned by its owner has been targeted by the Galactic Vacant Building Demolitions Crew for destruction.

The Empire has decreed that these buildings cannot be accessed and must be destroyed. Periodically, a House Demolition event takes place in Star Wars Galaxies, allowing players to search for 20 Abandoned player structures a day and flag them for demolition. The building sign is marked in red as "Abandoned" to indicate the structure can be demolished. More accurately, the structures and their content are not destroyed but safely packed in the owner's datapad.

The structure will be available when the owner returns to the galaxy upon account re-activation. Any vendors in the packed up house are also placed into the owner's datapad.

Beyond the fun and profit factors, this event allows precious landscapes to be cleaned of long inactive structures, and players, including mayors and harvester installers, to take benefit of the restored pieces of land.

Citizens who call on the Galactic Vacant Building Demolitions Crew are well-rewarded for their efforts. For each successful destruction of an abandoned structure, you received one reward point, points which are redeemable at the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley for exclusive decorative rewards.

Additionally, 3 exclusive Wrecking Crew badges are awarded to players with a fixed amount of demolition accomplished, respectively 10, 50 and Sign In Don't have an account? Start a Wiki. Do you like this video?

Administrators cannot, however, re-deed or rename a structure. Players can add other players to their structure's administrator list by clicking the Structure Permissions radial menu and choose the Administrator List radial option. Upon clicking OK, the server will add this player to the list provided the character still exists. The structure owner is always on this list. Players who are on the administrator list also have access to, and control of, containers inside the structure.

There is a 40 character limit to the names of entered players. Players can add up to 36 players to the administration list. Most structures can be transferred to other players who have sufficient lots to accept the structure.

When this command is issued, the targeted player will now be set as the new owner of the structure and the previous owner will be removed from all access to the structure. The player who is transferring a building, must be inside the building in order to transfer it to another player. Most buildings in swg have the ability for the building owner or administrator to set the building as being public or private.

The importance of public or privacy state is that it allows players to include or exclude players at their will. When a building is set to public, any player can enter their structure, except those individuals on the building's ban list. When a building is set to private then only players who are on the Entry List may enter it. Players who aren't on the entry list will be moved outside if a building when it is set to private.

Structures with a vendor inside cannot be set to private. To set the structure privacy by radial menu, the player must access the Structure Management radial menu. Once the window is opened, the player will see a radial option privacy. Clicking on this will toggle the building's privacy setting private or public depending on which setting the building is currently at. Buildings in star wars galaxies are set up to offer players the power of selectivity when determining who can or cannot enter their structure.

The structure entry mechanics are setup into three related and important sections:. To access the entry list, the player must use the structure management terminal to open up the Structure Permissions radial menu and from there, choose the Entry List radial option. After using the Entry List radial, an SUI Window opens up and works just like how the administrator list functions work. Banned players cannot be added to an entry list. As with other permission types, there is a 40 character limit to the names of entered players.

Up to 36 players may be added to an entry list. To access the ban list, the player must use the structure management terminal to open up the Structure Permissions radial menu and from there, choose the Ban List radial option.

After using the Ban List radial, an SUI Window opens up and works just like how the administrator list functions work. Up to 36 players may be added to an ban list. Jump to: navigationsearch. Game Mechanics - Mechanics Category.
